System for the Implementation of Lightly Standardized Processes (SIMPLE in Spanish). It is an online system for the implementation of electronic processes via a simplified designer, developed to provide a flexible solution for public institutions that wish to digitize their processes in a friendly, fast and simple manner.
It is the first Latin American public software, adopted in 2016 by regional governments within the framework of the Regional Public Software Mechanism supported by the IDB. It includes contributions from the governments of Mexico, Paraguay, and Uruguay, and is based on the System for the Implementation of Slightly Standardized Processes (SIMPLE) originally developed by Chile’s Modernization and Digital Government Unit in 2013 and improved collaboratively by the administrations of several countries of the region with the coordination of the Network of e-Government Leaders of Latin America and the Caribbean (Red Gealc).
