Apache Syncope
What is this?
Apache Syncope is an open source system that allows companies to manage and synchronize the authentication and authorization of their users, that is, to manage who the employees are, how they identify themselves and what data they can access within the organization. It allows the registration of employees in an automated way and provides them with the necessary permissions to perform their duties.
Why was it developed?
It was developed with the objective of offering an alternative to companies to minimize the possibility of being a victim of external threats such as misuse of data or information theft, among others. It allows to provide the necessary permissions to workers according to their activities, minimizing the accumulation of privileges or accesses. In this way, there is greater control and knowledge of who has access and what they can consult in the company's databases.
