What is it?
A guide or manual created by the IDB that compiles basic elements on good practices for documenting, evaluating, and licensing open-source digital tools.
Why was it developed?
To cover the need to share free, reusable, redistributable knowledge, with all the legal and technological characteristics to access from anywhere in the world.
Why are we sharing it?
To ensure the improvement of the quality in the publication processes of the tools, likewise, so that the use of good practices is legally promoted and thereby raise the standard of the knowledge that is shared.
