Pavimentados
What is it?
Pavimentados is a tool that allows the identification of pavement faults located on highways or roads, as well as vertical and horizontal signaling. This library is an environment around the artificial vision models developed to allow the detection of the different elements. The faults and detected elements are then used to generate metrics that help in road maintenance planning.
This tool was developed in the framework of operation: RG-T3617.
Why was it developed?
The system was developed due to the need to reduce the costs of the track maintenance process and signal inventory. This is a costly process that reduces the capacity for action in the maintenance of the road infrastructure. By automating and reducing the cost of this process, we were able to more efficiently extend the process of recovering and fine-tuning the region's roads.
Why are we sharing it?
We want the system to be available to organizations and companies in the region involved in the maintenance process. In this way, we contribute to the bank's objective by 2025, which includes promoting the digitization of processes in the region, as well as helping to make transportation-related processes more efficient.
