What is it?
It is a scientific project that seeks to generate a citizen network for the measurement of air quality, this through the application, reading of variables such as PM2.5, CO2, AQI, mobile telephony and the use of low temperature sensors. cost. The data is located on a map, which will be constantly updated, and these are used to generate initiatives that improve air quality.
Why was it developed?
It seeks to create a network to carry out initiatives that contribute to the environment and thus, the health of people. On the main page you will find documentation for the creation of sensors. It was created as a strategy for the measurement and improvement of air quality in Bogotá, using new technologies and citizen participation.
Why are we sharing it?
Through the collection of independent data carried out by the app, official figures on air quality can be validated and with that contribute individually, according to the creators "what can be measured can be improved".
